Thanks to everyone who visited the site during the past month. We had over 230,000.00 hits to the site during the last part of June and early July. Please share the site with all your friends.

I have been in FL the past week and not able to post pictures of the work continuing on the building. The electrical and HVAC is close to completion. Finished plumbing in in process now. Hopefully we will have the sprinkler system completed and tested before the end of this month.

The next major work will be getting the floors finished. All of the utilities must be operating in order to get this phase completed. The building needs to be 'conditioned' at a stable temperature for 72 hours in order to apply the special coating for the production part of the brewery.

Our equipment manufacturer is expecting our equipment will be available for delivery the first week in September. That would put us just about on schedule to some wet tests of the system and get at least one batch brewed before the end of September.

If we are lucky and get our final inspection and certificate of occupancy from the city we will be ready to brew and have a 'soft opening' sometime mid to late October. We continue to hope to be Officially Open the first weekend in November in conjunction with the Annual Whirligig Festival (November 5th).

We will soon be asking for help in getting the tap room ready... some cleaning, painting, and 'creative' work that we hope we will get a number of local volunteers to help... early tastings of our beers will be the reward... we will be positing for the dates to get some folks in to help.

Thanks again for the great outPOURing of support for 217 Brew Works.
