North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper visited Rocky Mount Mills to address a number of Craft Brewery owners and brewers from North Carolina.
As part of the visit the Governor read and signed a Proclamation naming the month of April as Craft Beer Month in North Carolina.
The event was hosted by the Craft Beer Guild at the Mills, which is a mixed use development of residential, retail, and commercial ventures with the focus on Craft Beer.
There are currently two nano breweries located on the grounds of the Mill with five 10 bbl systems being installed. Four of the five micro systems have alredy been rented and are scheduled to be operating in late 3rd quarter of this year according to Capital Broadcasting, the developer.
